Scholarships Opportunities

All scholarships require the listed documents below, however, unique scholarship opportunities may require the additional documents listed in the scholarship flyers linked below:

  • High School transcript
  • ACT, SAT, or PSAT/NMSQT test scores
  • Student Character Evaluation Form- (Teacher, Counselor, Administrator, or Coach complete online)
Scholarships listed below are available for Humble ISD graduating seniors after completing the common application. After you submit your scholarship common application, you will be able to apply for various unique scholarship opportunities. The applications for the unique scholarship opportunities will collect supplemental information that was not collected in the common application such as short answer questions specific to each scholarship, letters of recommendations, or participation verification letters. The deadline to submit applications closed on Sunday, February 28, 2021. Recipients will be notified of awards and invited to the scholarship reception by April 9, 2021.

Scholarships listed below are available for Humble ISD graduating seniors after completing the common application.

C.A.R.E.S. Scholarship 
by the Rotary Club of 
Lake Houston Area

Applicants must intend to pursue a four-year college degree or technical education and must demonstrate a meaningful contribution to community service. One senior student will receive a $5,000 scholarship. Apply here

CTE Scholarship 
by the Rotary Club of 
Lake Houston Area

Applicants must intend to pursue a four-year college degree or technical education, must be enrolled in CTE courses, and must demonstrate a meaningful contribution to the community service. One senior student will receive a $3,000 scholarship. Apply here

Chloe A. Robison
Memorial Scholarship

Applicants must have the intent to attend a post-secondary institution with a genuine interest in pursuing a liberal arts education. One senior student will receive a $1,350 scholarship. Apply here

Creek Orchestra 
Booster Organization
Scholarship
This scholarship, made possible by the generous support of Texas State Optical - Fall Creek, is available for students that have participated in the SCHS Orchestra program during all years enrolled at SCHS.  Applicants must have at least a 3.0 GPA and in good academic standing. One senior student will receive a $500 scholarship. Apply here

Applicants must have at least a 3.0 GPA and must intend to pursue a four-year college degree or technical education. Four senior students will each receive a $1,500 scholarship. Apply here

Applicants must intend to major in education. One senior student will receive a $1,000 scholarship. Apply here

HARTA Student 
Scholarship

Applicants must have at least a 3.0 GPA,  must intend to major in education, and attend a Texas college or university. Two senior students will each receive a $1,500 scholarship. Apply here

Harvey Trigg Memorial 
Criminal Justice 
Scholarship

Applicants must have at least a 3.0 GPA, must intend to pursue a career in the field of criminal justice, and demonstrate financial need. Two senior students will each receive a $1,250 scholarship. Apply here

(HESI) Scholarship
Applicants must have at least a 3.0 GPA, demonstrate financial need and be of Latino descent. Applicants must intend to enroll in a post-secondary institution. Two senior students will each receive a $1,000 scholarship. Apply here

HHS Alumni Association 
Scholarship

Applicants must attend Humble High School and must intend to enroll in an accredited four-year, two-year college or vocational/technical program. Five senior students will each receive a $2,500 scholarship. Apply here

Humble High School 
PTSA Scholarship

Applicants must attend Humble High School, have at least a 2.5 GPA and be a member of the HHS PTSA. Two senior students will each receive a $500 scholarship. Apply here

Jake Silva Fine Arts
Memorial Scholarship
Applicants must have at least a 3.0 GPA and intend to major in fine arts. Two senior students will each receive a $1,000 scholarship. Apply here

Julie Garza 
Memorial Scholarship
Applicants must have completed 5th grade at Elm Grove Elementary and demonstrate characteristics of good citizenship. Two seniors will each receive a $500 scholarship. Apply here

Memorial Scholarship
Applicants must attend Kingwood High School and must have at least a 2.75 GPA. Applicants must be a male student who participated in at least one UIL sport or cheerleading during 7th and 8th grade at Riverwood Middle School. Apply here

Mustang for Community 
Scholarship
Applicants must attend Kingwood High School and must be exemplary of the Mustang and Houston Strong spirit. Three graduating seniors will each receive a $1,000 scholarship. Apply here

Kingwood Forward 
Scholarship

Applicants must attend Kingwood High School and have a least a 3.0 GPA. Students must have experienced a family loss during their school years due to illness, natural disaster, job loss, etc. One senior student will receive a $2,500 scholarship. Apply here

Memorial Scholarship
Applicants must attend Humble High School and must demonstrate school and community involvement. Two senior students will each receive a $1,000 scholarship. Apply here

Maplebrook Elementary
Alumni Scholarship

Applicants must have completed 5th grade at Maplebrook Elementary and must intend to pursue a four-year college degree or technical institute. One senior student will receive a $500 scholarship. Apply here

Memorial Scholarship
Applicants must have completed at least one year at Humble Elementary School. One senior student will receive a $1,300 scholarship. Apply here

Mark Gorski 
Memorial Scholarship
Applicants must attend Kingwood High School and must plan to enroll in a full-time accredited college or university. One student will receive a $500 scholarship. Apply here

MST Foundation 
Scholarship
Applicants must intend to attend a post-secondary institution.  Two senior students will each receive a $2,000 scholarship that can be renewed for up to three (3) years. Apply here

Applicants must have at least a 3.0 GPA and must demonstrate financial need. One senior student will receive a $5,000 scholarship. Apply here

Applicants must attend Kingwood High School or Kingwood Park High School, have at least a 3.0 GPA, and must be a member of the KHS or KPHS tennis team during their senior year. One senior student will receive a $1,000 scholarship. Apply here

Applicants must attend Humble High School and must have at least a 2.5 GPA. Applicants must intend to pursue a four-year college degree or technical institute. One senior student will receive this scholarship. Apply here

Applicants must attend Humble High School, have at least a 2.5 GPA, be a member of the Ross Sterling PTA. Applicants must have completed two school years at Ross Sterling. One senior student will receive a $500 scholarship. Apply here

Essay Scholarship

Applicants must attend Humble ISD and complete the 500 -word essay. Three senior students will receive this scholarship. Awards vary. Apply here

KHS Memorial Scholarship

Applicants must attend Kingwood High School, have at least a 3.0 GPA and intend to pursue a career in veterinary medicine, zoology, wildlife conservation, or a similar field.  One student will receive a $1,500 scholarship. Apply here

Applicants must attend Summer Creek High School or Humble High School and have at least a 3.0 GPA and be in the top ten percent of their graduating class. Applicants must demonstrate financial need. One senior student will receive a $2,000 scholarship. Apply here

Applicants must attend Humble ISD and must have at least a 2.5 GPA, completed at least four years from Kindergarten through fifth grade at Willow Creek Elementary, and be members of the WCE PTA. One senior student will receive a $500 scholarship. Apply here
