The Quest Early College High School Annual Fund allows QECHS to provide supplemental activities, services and projects that would normally fall outside of the school's operating budget. The QECHS Annual Fund is in place of more traditional high school fundraisers such as candy.
Quest Early College High School is the only secondary school in Humble ISD that allows students to earn an Associate's Degree from Lonestar College at the same time they are completing their high school diploma. Open to any interested student in the district, but targeted at students who would be the first generation of their families to attend college, Quest opens doors for all kinds of kids when those same doors would feel locked (or at least jammed) at a more traditional high school. Quest has many success stories, including Missy Davenport's extraordinary accomplishment of graduating with her Associate's Degree days before the last day of her JUNIOR year of high school.
Stories like this and more happen every day at Quest Early College, but such stories would not be possible without your support. Through a variety of programs, such as Bridge Camp (a two week "boot camp" for incoming 9th graders) and "Family" (an advisory class that helps form supporting relationships between older and younger Quest students), you have the opportunity to make a real difference in the life of a child.
Thank you in advance for your support of QECHS and for your generosity to our Annual Fund campaign! Support us here.
Teachers and other employees often need money for supplies or projects specific to their classrooms or job duties. Consider supporting an educator or other school employee through a donation to their online wish list. You can search for educators by name or listing. Check out what neat ideas they have and forward your favorite projects to your friends. Remember, school counselors and administrators have wish lists too. You get a tax deduction and your child's teacher recieves items needed for the classroom. And your your company may match your gift! Ready to pitch in? To see wish lists posted for this campus and make a donation today, click here.
Does your child's teacher not have an online wish list created yet? Send them the link to create one here.
Are you an Humble ISD employee and want to create an online Wish List? An instructional video may be found here as a resource for you. Once you are ready to create your wish list or you would like to edit your current wish list, come back to this page and click here to get started.
