The Prize Posse Rides Again!

For the tenth year in a row, the Prize Posse rode through Humble ISD awarding grants to educators. On Friday, May 8th, the Education Foundation and its "Prize Posse" awarded $205,168 in grants to
thirty-four schools.

Including the designated grants that were awarded earlier in the year, the Foundation gave a total $417,566 in financial support to Humble ISD this school year. This would not have been possible without the devoted support of our donors. Thank YOU!!

114 projects in 37 campuses will be implemented next school year that will excite students about learning and help them to reach their academic potential. Together, we are inspiring minds beyond the books!

Foundation Gifted Humble ISD $3 million Since 2000

The Humble ISD Education Foundation began in 1999, with 31 community members who wanted to support enriched learning opportunities in Humble ISD. That next year, 25 projects were awarded.

Since 2000, the Foundation has awarded 851 projects to all 36 schools in Humble ISD.

This year the Foundation celebrates its Tenth Year of existence.
In March, 205 teachers have turned in requests for funding, to take exciting field trips, do fun learning activities, and buy creative learning materials for their students.

At the Foundation's gala Friday night, Corinn Price, Foundation Chairperson, presented Dr. Guy Sconzo with a ceremonial check for $3 million, representing the culminated donation to Humble ISD for the Foundation's ten years of existence.

We are proud of this significant accomplishment and look forward to even greater success in the next 10 more years.
